In September 2022, we hosted our first learning event to exchange experiences, reflect, and learn together about our work on SRHR, civic space, youth engagement, and influencing. 115 people, including youth activists and partners from across the MENA region met in person.

Friendships were developed, alliances were formed, difficult conversations were held, and some conflicts were resolved. All in all, we learned about each other’s challenges and opportunities, respected and valued our differences with curiosity and openness, became more united in upholding our shared values and collective vision, and increased our sense of belonging to Masarouna. We could not be any prouder of this joint effort – one that makes us all look forward to a future with tighter collaboration and mutual understanding!
